Interim coach: Danny White?

I offer to you the idea that Danny White could and should step into the void that is the Dallas Cowboys HC vacancy.


Why?

Let me spelt the ways.

What is Jerra supposed to do? Fire Wade today. Then what?
Who would step into the void? Garrett? That would give Garrett the idea that he will be the next head coach. That would be great, ideology and strategywise, but a disaster because he cannot fire up the players ala Wade.

So does Jerra bring in Gruden or Cowher or Fox this week? They would not step into this void on 1-week notice. Nor should they.

So I propose jerra tell garrett that he will remain OC and Jerra is bringing in an interim HC (White) and Jason should not read too much into that signing other than it is stop-gap for the gud of the team.

After the season, after the labor situation becomes clearer, then and only then should Jerra act.

Then go after a Gruden or Cowher after the super bowl.

Then White would gracefully step down and maybe be a consultant for Jerra, since White is currently in the motivational speaking business.

Yes, a fine plan.

To my knowledge Jerry has never had any contact with Danny so why would he hire him as a HC.

To my knowledge Danny White hates Jerry Jones and has said that he would NEVER work for him. As far as I know, he has never come to any of the Cowboys games or shown up for anything to do with the Cowboys since he was let go.

He despises Jerry for his handling of Tom Landry and how so many of the Cowboys were dumped when Jerry took over.

Maybe he has mellowed over the years but I don't think so.

I know. That's my concern as ell. Jerry has shown little respect for the players that came before. With that said, maybe this total embarrassment has changed him somehow.
