Now that I'm over the shock I'll adopt Bledsoe as a true Dallas Cowboy and Support him. I'll even throw you a hypothttical: What if Bledsoe takes us to the Super Bowl - this year - and win it for us? Am I dreaming? Perhaps! But why not? What if he proves us skeptics wrong and takes us to the show?

So let's dream the unthinkable: It will be Dallas vs. the Patriots head to head in the next Super Bowl - two franchises who have historically won three Super Bowls in four years - with the Pats trying to one-up our franchise-history to make it four Super Bowl wins in 5 years. But it will Bledsoe vs. Brady, and Bledsoe will prevail to dash New England's hopes. Bledsoe will beat the man (Brady) who replaced him to build this Patriots dynasty that does not hold a candle to the Team-of-the-90s.

Yes, Bledsoe-haters! It wil be Drew Bledsoe who puts an end to the Pats Dynasty, restoring the Boys' past success, adding to that success with a Lombardy Trophey and finally showing up Brady and the Ptsies once and for all. New England will be stunned! And Buffalo - the team that knee-jerkinly and mistakenly let Bledsoe go - will be in tears because Dallas somehow humiliates thenm again in a Super Bowl, and this time they aren't even playing us in it. And as for the the NFL, all glory will be restored as America's Team is Super Bowl Champion again. Parcells will be promoted from Tuna to King Triton. Jerry Jones will hear general-manager-praises from Jimmy Johnson. And somewhere, Nors will be smiling, thinking: I told you so!

And I? I will be In shock once again - but at least loving it!

The moral to this post? In all seriousness, I'm willling to put away my frustrating over the Bledsoe signing and truly become his supporter. And in truth, I do like Bledsoe. My Bledsoe-hate had more to do with what it meant in terms of Hensesn's setback. But I'm starting to believe Hensen is NOT ready, in which case I support the Bledsoe signing. If Hensen is not ready then Bledsoe is a good pickup (the best there was in free agency) and I think he still has something to prove. Can he become a Champion? Only time will tell, but I like to have hope in his chances!

Go (Bledsoe's) Cowboys!

You dream big dreams. Isn't dreaming an unthinkable kinda of a double negative?

Actually, I am being serious about turning a new leaf to support Bledsoe. I know it's a long-shot as far as him taking us deep in the playoffs or possbly winning a super bowl. But I do think he is a better option than other veteran QBs available. Previously I wanted Vinny back, but that was under the notion that Hensen was ready tro start and that Viny would back Hensen up. To me that still would have been the ideal scenario. But all indicatins now point to Hensen not being ready, and in that case I'd rather have Bledsoe starting over Vinny, or any other free agent that was avaialble, or even any QB we could get in this year's dradt. In the end, we could always draft a QB in next year's draft in case we need to. And perhaps then Hensen can be ready to compete as the starter, unless of course Bledsoe plays so well that that becomes a moot point.

Bledsoe is a turd

and not just your everday turd

He's like a turd after a heavy night of drinking. The kind that burns your *** on the way out.

It's a waste of time not to support him. He is our QB and will be for at least two years. Why make yourself miserable? If Henson beats him out at anypoint, great. It's a win-win.

I have always been a big Bledsoe fan. Remember this, Bledsoe had his best years on teams with dominant TE's. He lives off the TE. We have a couple good TE's. He'll be fine. A great pickup.

Bledsoe is an improvement over Vinny. IMO.

And if he sucks they'll throw Henson out there and we'll finally know whether he can cut it.

Either way I'm glad to see somebody out there besides Vinny.
