Michael Felger, of the Boston Herald, reports New England Patriots LB Dan Klecko has received minicamp practice reps at the middle linebacker position as the team attempts to convert the former defensive lineman into a 3-4 linebacker. Klecko also continues to draw time as a pass rusher in nickel packages.

He hinted that it would be something to try with Ekubust.

Anyone replying to AJM--as long as he maintains an obscene sig that displays everything that's wrong with the NFL today--- it aiding a moron in his delusion.
What kind of a loser hangs out on on the boards of the enemy while rooting for a team which has never delivered for him.
How about a more appropriate icon for his sig, say a window closing?
Owen's crass stupidity was at least performed while wearing the uniform of a team that went to 5 SBs he was critisized for his lack of class by his own coach for trading on the reputations of Joe Montana, Jerry Rice and Bill Walsh. Owen's is a coach's nightmare, a potential career killer that will have Andy Reid distracted by mid-season.
His Super Bowl glory was attenuate by the Star, but as far as the Eagles go it hard to be a "Has Been" when you're actually a "Never Were".

I say something about Klecko and this gets brought up...
You think that our window is closing? Why? Because we have been good the last four years?
We have a young team (one of the youngest in the league) and a core of stars that rivals any in the NFL. We also have one of the best coaching staffs in the NFL, and a very good owner.
Most of your post concentrated on how Owens is a cancer, which is kind of a homer statement, considering that right now you have a WR that was benched last year because he was hurting the team more by playing.
So...Owens is a cancer, and Keyshawn isn't? Please explain...
At least now he can dance on your star in a green uniform, so he won't disrespect the sacred 49er uniform...

The answer is AJM is that the law of competitive balance is the unseen force that brings the good back to mediocre and causes the bad to rise to at least an average level. The Eagles have been good a long time... Today's NFL doesn't allow for a team to dominate for a decade at a crack. The Eagles will fall and it is not a question of if but when. I don't know if it will be this year or not but it will happen in the next 2-3 years no doubt.

Key won't play the same kind of game under Parcell's. Key respects BP like a father. Key didn't respect gruden.

Now how do you know that? Did someone tell you? Just because it hasn't happened yet doesn't mean that it won't. We have a lot of talented young players signed for a fairly long time that it will be hard for us to fall.
Three starters over the age of 28 that we don't have replacements for currently on our team {Brian Dawkins (30), Tra Thomas (29), and Terrell Owens (30)}. That really isn't a lot considering how good our team is right now.

Owens didn't respect Marriucci, or Ericson. Reid demands respect. If Owens doesn't respect him then he should be benched. Our team would still be better than it was last year.

Study statistics AJM... study statistics.
As a matter of fact, go find some of the books Bill James wrote in the early-mid 80's on baseball and that will define precisely the challenge of the Eagles.
Competitive balance is like gravity. You can fight it but eventually gravity will win out.

Anyway, back to the topic at hand.
I doubt that he would do it with Ogbogu. I for one would like to see him get some more plays on the DL. He always seemed to be in the backfield when he was in there, but that could be due to the fact that he was fresher than the other guys.
Peter King is probably getting a chubby over this. However, he may be too busy watching and writing about his daughters softball team to notice

For a team to fall that has been good for 4 years, something has to bring them down.
1. Age: One of the youngest teams in the league.
-Not going to affect the team for a while.
2. FA: We have lost SO many players and still seem to be okay.
-Not a problem.
3. Cap Room: 3rd most in the league.
-Not a problem.
4. Stronger Competiton: The NFC is getting weaker, but the NFC East is getting stronger, still we are a lot better than anyone else in the division.
-Becoming a problem.
Really the only thing that can cause us to decline (IMO) is other teams being better than us. This might be a homeristic statment, but there isn't a team in the East better than us, or in the whole NFC.
