ARLINGTON, Texas (AP) Jason Garrett is still perfect as the interim coach of the Dallas Cowboys. And if Bryan McCann keeps coming up with long, game-changing returns for touchdowns, it may stay that way for awhile.
A week after a 101-yard touchdown return helped Garrett win his debut, McCann grabbed a batted-down punt and took it 97 yards for a go-ahead touchdown that sent Dallas to a 35-19 victory over the Detroit Lions on Sunday.

with only a short part of the story, followed by a link to the site with the full story?
Is this being required by the sites providing the content?
I have tried to go read a few of the complete stories, but have started giving up due to these sites taking forever to load.
Probably due to the slow/unresponsive loading of (external) advertising content - the reason they want to redirect readers to their site.

I think Reality got a SAD letter from DMN about how we were posting all of its legit Cowboys articles/stories/blog entries here and this site by far gets more traffic than the POS DMN so they got butt hurt and cried to an attorney.
Things had to be readjusted here so that we could still carry some content but link back to the site to keep all parties happy.
Us and THOSE rats at DMN. :starspin It is what it is.

There wasn't any animosity involved in these changes. DMN editors requested we stop posting whole articles. We chose to stop posting everything from DMN.
Later we decided to do a sitewise change and post only snippets or summaries of articles and then the link. That had nothing to do with DMN, but DMN was a beneficiary of that change.
