Do you want us to individually post who we want Dallas to sign, or do you want a list of FA CBs?
I want Lucas, but I could live with Law for a short price.

Mario Edwards coming back wouldn't surprise me at all, but I would rather go with someone with skills like Smooty or Lucas.
If it is all up to Parcells, he will go with Glenn or Law, because of the trust factor. (That is of course if Houstons releases Glenn and his outrageous salary).

Actually I would take him back too. Pay me $1.5 mill per year and let it go as that. That would allow us to spend more on DL.

Being that a pass rush is MUCH more important, I'd rather have a mid-range, dependable RCB and spend the savings toward DT, DE, or OLB then overpay for a name.
If bringing back Edwards means we can sign another player, I'd much rather do that then overpay.

Blind Z... we agree again. And again we're on opposite sides from Nors. It's like being home!

We have at least 3 guys on the roster who can play RCB at least as well as Mario Edwards. There is absolutley no reason to bring him back in here. If we want a mediocre to bad CB why pay the $1.5 mil that Mario would want when we have them cheaper already.

What about Mario at FS? He doesn't have the physical talent to be a great CB, but he's a smart player and decent tackler.

My top choice is Baxter: http://www.nfl.com/players/playerpage/235194
Just in case, here's Woodson's stats page: http://www.nfl.com/players/playerpage/12841
I'd be pysched with Lucas or Baxter though.

I've heard this guys name being thrown around here a lot lately, and like you, I don't understand why this guy is high on everyones list. We need someone who has a nose for making big plays. This guy has averaged just over 1int a year....nah.
1)TY lAW - IF NOT
Henry over
Smoot, Lucas, Baxter - that lot is average and will be overpaid for.

I'm hoping we sign Henry and Baxter (move him back to FS) and make our big FA splashes with Reggie Hayward and Ed Hartwell or Kareem McKenzie. That would allow us to truly target BPA with our first 3 picks. Under this scenario, My favorites are: Merriman or DJ at #11; Hawthorne or Jamaal Brown at #20 and hoping Marlin Jackson falls to #42

The Hunter experiment at safety already failed. They have made it very clear they do not want him at safety. Maybe down the line once the kid understands some basic coverage fundamentals, they could revisit that. The odd thing is, understanding coverages are actually easier to pick up as a free safety which is why it's not uncommon for a corner to make that transition. Doesn't seem so in this case.
Not to mention the fact that Hunter might be the worst tackler among all the Cowboy DBs.

Can't understand fundamental basics
Can't tackle
Cut him and bring someone in that can.
He was toasted last year pre injury.

Hunter was a safety in college, the cowboys transitioned him to cb...I'd like to see him tried at safety this season. Who knows, could be our FS answer in time.
Baxter turned down a $10M Signing Bonus.
Henry to look for at least that.
