IRVING, Texas - Contrary to what a 35-19 final score might perceive, the Cowboys didn't have it all easy in Sunday's 16-point win over the Detroit Lions.

Spanning the second and third quarters, five offensive drives totaled zero points. Two ended in costly turnovers: a Felix Jones fumble inside their own 20 that led to a Lions touchdown, and a Leonard Davis holding penalty that caused a safety.

Those types of plays plagued the Cowboys in previous losses. Sunday, they shook them off.

"What the players hear me say 100 times a day is that you have to keep playing," interim head coach Jason Garrett said. "The guy you're playing against and the team you're playing against - they're good. You're going to be challenged every play. They're going to win some of theirs, but we're going to win some of ours, too."
