After breaking down film of both teams, Scouts Inc. offers 10 things to watch in this week's Saints-Cowboys matchup.

1. Lean on Brees: Drew Brees (http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/players/profile?playerId=2580) should be in for a huge game in Dallas, as the Cowboys' pass defense has been a sieve. The Cowboys might use more zone concepts to help their secondary, which has been thoroughly abused all season. And although they have excellent edge pass-rushers, the Cowboys have not consistently disrupted opposing quarterbacks.

2. Show some balance: Throwing on Dallas is easier than attacking it on the ground, but the Saints' offense thrives when it shows excellent balance. Chris Ivory (http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/players/profile?playerId=13587) has been quite impressive as a runner and Reggie Bush (http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/players/profile?playerId=9588) could return this week

3. Also feed the tight end: The Cowbots have really struggled to slow down opposing tight ends, and Detroit's Brandon Pettigrew (http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/players/profile?playerId=12549) was quite effective against them last week. The Saints' Jimmy Graham (http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/players/profile?playerId=13232) emerged in Week 11 and could present big problems.

4. Expect to see Jones: Felix Jones (http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/players/profile?playerId=11256) is now the lead back in Dallas -- deservedly so. He looks more explosive and elusive of late and certainly has more big-play flair than Marion Barber (http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/players/profile?playerId=8523).

5. Matchup to watch: Saints RB Reggie Bush versus the Cowboys' linebackers: It isn't a sure thing that Bush will play in this game, but his impact could be massive. He affects the way opposing defenses use their personnel.

6. Use an amazing pair of wide receivers: Before last week, throwing against the Saints was extremely difficult. Neither tight ends nor wideouts were posting big numbers against New Orleans.

7. Mix it up: Dallas' pass defense has struggled whether it blitzes or not, but if the Cowboys get predictable with their pressure schemes, Brees will have a field day.

8. Stick with what is working: Since Jason Garrett became the head coach, the Cowboys are favoring double-tight end sets as their base personnel, which helps their offensive tackles.

9. Keep Kitna on course: All eyes will be on this Thanksgiving game. Dallas scored 35 points last week, although Jon Kitna (http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/players/profile?playerId=1383) only threw for 131 yards. Kitna did play an excellent overall game, though.

10. Matchup to watch: Cowboys QB Jon Kitna vs. Saints defensive coordinator Gregg Williams: Kitna hasn't done well versus four or fewer pass-rushers, and he has really struggled outside the confines of the pocket.

Has he? Is this in the games before Garrett was elevated? Because one of the things I've been most impressed with is Kitna's 38-year-old mobility in buying time and then getting the ball down field.
