yes, i'm a Nebraska homer: but Dennard, gomes, and Amukamara are all beasts. I just got done watching the Nebraska/Colorado game and these guys brought it. 2 touchdowns were a result of interceptions. I've forgotten what that's like. I will crap bricks if we draft Amukamara. What do ya'll think? What other college safeties/corners are studs? I only keep up with Nebraska.

Amukamara was very impressive tonight. The only other time I had seen him was against Blackmon and that didn't turn out well for him. Tonight he played well though.

Let's just say I would be thrilled if he was there for our 1st round pick.

We'll have the opportunity to draft him.

They also need to look at Wisconsin's offensive line....too bad we couldn't draft that entire o-line.

bad ain't the world. Atrocious.

I know CB's have bad games, but that game really turned me off of him.

Harris is better.

I just didn't get too down on him for that game, because Weeden and Blackmon have torched literally everybody this year.

True, There are no comparable QB/WR combos in the NFL. Prince wouldn't have to be concerned with that!

Blackmon is already better than a lot of professional wide receivers. Plus it's not like Prince won't get better also. He'll be learning new technique and he would be running different plays. Players get better after being drafted, so I'm not really concerned about it to be honest.

But if you think he won't get any better after getting drafted, more power to you. I prefer to live in reality though.

By the way Mark Ingram just had around 40 yards today against a college defense. I guess he won't make a good pro either.

They were playing against Cody Hawkins today and Austen Arnaud a couple weeks back. Not exactly Eli Manning and Drew Brees.;)

Nebraska's secondary is very good both CBs should go first round, Amakumura had a bad first half against Oklahoma St., but the second half was a different story, Oklahoma St. only scored 14 points the second half if that.

Blackmon reminds me of Dez.

Peterson is not better than Amakumura or Denard.

Atrocious? Granted Dennard absolutely put the clamps on Blackmon in the 2nd half, but Prince was far from 'atrocious' that game.

He got beat on a comeback route. He fell down on an underthrown lob pass to Blackmon that he had great coverage on. And he, and the safety, bit hard on a flea-flicker pass to Blackmon.

A trick play and falling down does not = atrocious, IMO.

Pellini is particularly a good defensive coach.

No more drafting kickers, please. We've wasted a couple of picks in the last four drafts already.

Most accurate kicker in NCAA history. Should be creeping close to making 97% of all his kicks in his career.

And the funny thing is, it is looking likely that he will never make 1st team All-Conference in his entire career, even though he was a 4 year starter. :laugh1:

How? He's the best college kicker I've ever seen.

Freshman - Just did not deserve it. Only made 8 FGs that year.

Sophomore - Jeff Wolfert got it, and I have no idea why. Granted Wolfert is the NCAA's most accurate kicker right now, but Wolfert only made 20-27 FGs that year.

Junior - Was close between him and Grant Ressel last year. Stats were pretty similar, but they went with Ressel.

Senior - Not entirely sure he will not make it this year, but since Dan Bailey was a Groza finalist and Henery was not, I'm just assuming.
