I doubt he's there. Although, I've only seen him play in the Rose Bowl and he did nothing in that game-is he really that good ??

Oops sorry...didn't realize this thread was for Clarett apologist only.not apologists, this is just a thread for people that are NOT haters and appreciate talent.im no bandwagoner i just love football and love watching talented young players bust their a** to fufill a life long dream,i DONT like when some fat, old, outta shape, cigar smoking,never played sports in his life type of guys that have conversations about how big of a "loser" and "bumb" a nice young respectful hard working kid is all because he was a couple fractions of a second slower than what emmit smith was[who i love and is my favorite player 4.65-40].STOP ALL THE HATE.we should be pulling for this kid not calling him a LOSER.!!!RESPECTFULLY YOURS.

DJ is definitely that good BUUUUUUUUUUUUT....Michigan ran right at him which is his kryptnonite. The one catch about him is that he's smallish/lightish and has a tough time taking on blockers directly. He needs to run around them to make plays which can be bad in the NFL. When plays go away from him, he is awesome at chasing guys down with his freakisk speed. He's also a great pass rusher from the LB position and does well in coverage. He'll be awesome at an OLB position with a few good DTs in front of him.
His liability when teams run right at him though makes me prefer shawne merriman, that and Merriman's ability to put a hand on the ground and become a speed/edge rusher or drop back to the LB position. In fact Merriman could play ILB, OLB, or DE. He has freakish athleticism and could really cause an opposing team's offense problems by lining up at a different position all the time.

What I don't get is people who pretend to know the guy personally by calling him a thug or a punk all because of 1 incident. He lied to the police, by golly the kid should be shot and hung and then lets drag his body through the streets. He made a mistake which he has owned up to and he is looking to change things and pursue his dream. I am just glad that some of the guys on this board that are so quick to jump all over Clarett weren't around to pass judgement on me when I was a teenager and pulled some typical teenage stuff.
