Everyone is on Merriman's nut sachel. I mean, he seems like the perfect pickup, but don't be surprised if he falls to us and we do something like trade down a few spots. Basically he's this year's Jackson...In my opinion.

Mike Williams is this years Steven Jackson(i.e. a guy not really even on our radar, that everyone wants), followed by Derrick Johnson. We have absolutely no intention of taking either guy, yet many fans will be praying for them come our pick.

Merriman is a VERY realistic possibility IMHO.

Merriman is a VERY realistic possibility IMHO.if we passed on both and grabbed merriman i would be extremely upset and laugh when d.j. sacks bledsoe twice and picks him off and returns it for a TD.dj is a playmaker.

Sure I like DJ but you can't have every player you want coming out. If we get Merriman and he plays well for us then it doesn't matter what the other players that we couldn't draft do for their teams. The measure of a draft is not how well other teams draft but how well the players that we draft play for us.
