If we were going to sign only one of these two players... which would you want?

Kendrell Bell LB (PIT)

or

Darren Sharper FS (GB)

We have a MLB, not a FS. Sharper not even thinking twice.

I'd go with Sharper...He'd be a great compliment to Roy Williams...and would solidify the secondar...

I can't honestly say that one would be better than the next but the Cowboys are in a position where they can get both players AND

a CB, DE, OT, WR, OG, S, DT, or LB.

Bell hands down!

Qwickdraw

I think Bell is a real playmaker but Sharper fills too much of an immediate need with a guaranteed solution.

Sharper.

Bell's a better player at his position and he's 5 years younger.

If we want to move to a 3-4 Bell would be a tremendous upgrade. Hell, he'd be a tremendous upgrade anyway.

We need help more in the front 7 than the back 4. LB is worth more than S.

I'd rather have Kendrell Bell no doubt... We do have a MLB but Bell is no doubt bigger and more explosive, plus he has experience in the 3-4 that Pit runs.

Sharper is the most overrated safety in the whole league... I don't think he is a safety in the FS mold... He is more of a strong safety and he is a definate liability in the passing game (eg. Green Bay secondary stinks "big time!").

No doubt I'd rather have Kendrell Bell and pass big time on Sharper... get another LB like, maybe DJ, grab Lucas for CB and Whoa Nellie, we got a defense.

Umm....what? He has had at least 70 tackles every year for the past 7 seasons.

He is also only 29, people keep calling him 30.

I'd go with Sharper out of those two and then try for Hartwell for the LB spot. Sharper brings experience to our secondary and still has 4 or 5 years left in him plus he fills one of our biggest needs.

Qwickdraw

Not to mentioned he scored 3 defensive TDs last year on his own and had 4 INTs.

3 DEFENSIVE TDS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Our whole defense didn't have that many.

you have to ask yourself.

Which is the bigger upgrade?
Bell over Nguyen?
Or Sharper over Dixon?

I think it speaks for itself.

Kendrell Bell by far. He's only 24 and still hasn't hit his prime. Sharper has been HORRIBLE for the Packers the last couple of seasons.

Echo that 100%.

You obviously didn't watch Sharper much the past 2 seasons. He wouldn't be much of an upgrade over Dixon, if at all. He's extremely overrated. I can't even stress enough how overrated he is.

Laugh all you want, Kiddo, but it's the truth. Go to a few Packers boards and see their feeling on Sharper. He's not the same Sharper of 3 or 4 years ago. It's obvious you only go off of hype, cuz if you knew a thing about football and watched him last year you'd know how horrible he is.

My Great Aunt would be an upgrade over Tony Dixon...
