Eagles receiver DeSean Jackson says that his focus is not on what happened last year against the Cowboys, but what happens next.
PHILADELPHIA - DeSean Jackson boasted that he was planning to "sting" the Dallas Cowboys at the end of last season.
Instead, the Pro Bowl wide receiver and his Philadelphia Eagles teammates were the ones who got zapped in a season-ending blowout loss to Dallas at Cowboys Stadium.
The 34-14 win in the wild card playoffs completed a three-game sweep of the Eagles for Dallas, and ended a forgettable trifecta of games for Jackson.
With the Eagles (8-4) preparing for their trip back to Dallas Sunday for the first of two games against the Cowboys (4-8) in the final four weeks of the season, Jackson said his focus is not on what happened last year, but what happens next.
