I think we'll scoop up a WR in the draft fairly early on, maybe in the 3rd if we pick up a pick.

The last thing we needed was another over the hill WR. I'm glad we didn't get Moose. We do need a number 1 WR, but I think we should draft him in the first or second round.

Plus, I still have hopes for Morgan. Everyone is down on the guy, but he came in during the middle of the year and didn't know the offense and wasn't familiar with Testaverde. I think he will be better this year. I don't think he will be our number 1 guy, but I think he will still be good.

There are gonna be some real good WRs in the draft. Mike Williams Braylon Edwards Troy Williamson and there are some others that are good to. Btw Jones and Parcells are shown interest in Mike Williams.

Did I miss something? Did Mason sign elsewhere? At any rate, there are still several very good receivers in this draft, and one of them will be there at 11 if Bill decides to go that route. It's not my preference, but I wouldn't be all that uncomfortable going into the season with Keyshawn, Glenn, Witten, Morgan and Crayton as targets. That's still a decent set of receivers, no worse than middle of the pack but better than most teams.

the only deals Ive seen that are in place, are for players who have been released this past week. I dont know what the list of "free agent" recievers looks like, but I think we will get one in the draft. If we dont, I wouldnt mind seeing Crayton and Copper. From what I recall, when they got on the field for us last year, they both made plays :thumbup:

Off to a slow start? We signed a freakin starting QB 4 days ago! You guys are crazy. FA hasn't even started. None of these receivers are worth crying over and frankly, we need a young star at that position to move to the future with. If you sign one of these selfish headcases (Moss or Burress) or one of these overhyped guys (Muhammed, yes that's right- 9 years in the league and he finally had a good season last year, no thanks) then you better be ready to give up your ability to get a real difference maker like Bell, Sharper, Lucs (or whoever at CB), or Pat Williams.
