Improved Dallas Cowboys set to host Philadelphia Eagles in key NFC East battle

A month or so ago, the thought of Sunday night's game between the Philadelphia Eagles and Dallas Cowboys holding any real intrigue was about as laughable as a pig on stilts.
NBC would get better ratings broadcasting a Mike Tyson Christmas Special.
But suddenly, this week's version of "Sunday Night Football" might be worth watching.
"The Cowboys are a different team under Jason Garrett. They're 3-1," NBC analyst Rodney Harrison said. "They're playing a lot tougher. They're a lot more balanced."
Dallas (4-8) is coming off a 38-35 overtime win at Indianapolis and, as Harrison said, seems to be responding to its interim head coach.
