Any hopes the Dallas Cowboys had of evaluating second-year receiver Kevin Ogletree for the rest of the season have been dealt a severe setback because of a toe injury he suffered against the Philadelphia Eagles.

Ogletree, who underwent an MRI and visited a foot specialist on Monday, has been diagnosed with a sprained toe and is expected to be placed on injured reserve. He'll have surgery on the toe on Thursday. It will keep him out of this week's game against the Washington Redskins and possibly the rest of the season, according to a team source.

Toe problems are the kiss of death for speed dependant players. Likely the end for Ogletree if I was betting.

I thought he regressed badly from starting from TC to now. Dallas needed to go in another direction....and the injury probably accelerates those plans.
