tell me about clabo, not sure I have ever seen him play. Mankins is a stud and would upgrade the line for sure.

Not sure, but he looks like a guy we can plug in at RT and be just ok.
W/ all the change needed at OL I will sign up for a decent-ish RT w/ experience

if you look at the above, you can see that the quality is at offensive line. That is why I think Dallas needs to draft a top cb in 2011. They can get an offensive linemen or two in free agency while drafting youth in the second and third rounds.
Safety is a real problem in that it is a weak draft for safety and a weak free agent class. I wonder what a bigger cb like Bailey would look like at FS for Dallas. Would it be cost prohibitive?

With a new salary cap coming with the new CBA, we're going to have to dump some serious payroll before we start looking at top shelf free agents, IMO.

If a deal is not done at that time do the RFA then become URFA?

I believ the owners will initiate a lockout when the NFL 'year' begins 1 March if no CBA is in place.

Sean Considine is still in the league?
I'd take Mankins and Matt Light.

Logan Mankins OG.
Champ Bailey CB, 1 year 12m or so, hes still a lockdown CB and would allow us to try Terrence Newman at FS, while allowing Mike Jenkins/O.Scandrick 1 more year to develop.

I doubt it would be all that bad. I think Dallas will have room to operate in free agency if they want.
I expect some salary dumps anyway. Davis for starters.
However, I think you can sign some good guards for reasonable deals.
I don't think this FA list is complete. I think the following are also free agents:
Carl Nicks
Justin Blalock
Harvey Dahl
Marshal Yanda
Jeremy Trueblood
Chris Chester
Chris Spencer
Davin Joseph
Leroy Harris
Yanda is intriguing since he's probably best fit as a guard, but has stepped in at RT in the past.

Can you imagine a nastier interior OL than a lineup of:
Dahl
Kreutz
Mankins
Columbo was also a runner up on that list. And Shaun Rogers is considered too fat by many, but his athleticism and his nastiness are indisputable. Cowboys need more ornery players. Other than Columbo they have nada.

I doubt the falcons will want to part with much of their O line. And being such a young team they will have a fair amount of capspace no matter what its set at.

We're gonna need to look at depth at ILB in case Sean Lee gets hurt. I like D'qwell Jackson, Stephen Cooper, or Takeo Spikes.

The biggest changes, and upgrades, must be made in the O-Line. IF they don't spend the most attention there then this team will not do much next year either.
After that we need ILB depth, DL depth, and definately need to be working on that secondary.

this us just guessing Dude
gawd lighten up
I'd love to have Mankins but he will probably ask for more money than Davis did ?
maybe we offer Dahl so much Falcons let him go
and do you know he was on our PS when Big Bill was here - I knew he could not find O linemen - I wonder how he ever won a SB
He was signed by the Dallas Cowboys (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dallas_Cowboys) as an undrafted free agent (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Undrafted_free_agent) in 2005.

get some common sense and I will lighten up. The Falcons have one of the richest owners in the league and right now a low salary level. They WILL spend the money.
