he seems to have really good size for the position. He's also a track star. From what I've heard, he plays kind of a one-dimensional game sort of like Lelie from Denver. A deep threat but not much else. I'm sure with good coaching and work, that could change though. I like him personally... anyone that fast at 6'3", 200 lbs has to be a star in the making.

I'm a South Carolina alumnus and booster and have seen every game Troy has played in his three year career in Columbia. This past season, Troy finally put everything together (the hands, the speed, etc). He became a complete reciever. He has great speed, good hands and good size. He is just scratching the surface of how good he can be. He's not a finished product yet, but the jump he made from his sophomore year to his junior year was impressive. He seems to have learned about having a strong work ethic. I think he's going to have a fine NFL career. I just don't think it's going to be with the Cowboys, who will probably go defense with the 11th pick. He's going in the top 15, at least IMHO.

I don't know if "search" technology has reached you yet amongst the tumble weeds and rattlesnakes. If it hasn't, it'd been easy to miss. ;)

I'm a gamecock fan, been watching Troy all year long. Again with the right coach he could become a very good deep threat!! Nice soft hands and good speed and size.

CBZ, Troy is from my home town. He is fast and very athletic. Not one dimensional. He's a good kid from a good family. He played QB in HS and I saw several of his games. He can move. He's not a straight line player. He's bigger than 200 as well. My brother talked to him the other day and said he has really bulked up. Apparently without loosing speed. He made plays on a team without a decent QB who failed to use him properly and still led the SEC late in the season in receptions.

I'd still take Spears or Merriman.

This kid is only going to get better. Williams is only a glorified special teamer. Night and day difference between the 2.
