Dial, who helped UMS-Wright win a state title in 2005 and started on Alabama's national championship team last year, enjoyed his most productive college season statistically in 2010, catching 21 passes for 209 yards and 3 touchdowns. Dial said he hopes to show NFL scouts he can be a productive receiver as a tight end or an effective blocker as a fullback.

"I'm looking forward to the opportunity to show that I can be there (in the NFL), whether it be getting open against man-to-man coverage on linebackers and safeties, and especially blocking D-ends from the down position or coming out of the backfield blocking," he said. "I think one of my greatest assets as a player is the fact that I am multi-faceted, that I can block out of the backfield and on the line and get open."

All three Alabama invitees will come to Mobile with something to prove, as none are projected to go in the early rounds of April's NFL draft.

McElroy, who has led Alabama to a 23-3 record in his two years as a starter, threw for 2,767 yards and 19 touchdowns this year and has 5,471 yards and 38 TDs in his college career. Known for his intelligence and leadership skills, he said he's looking forward to showing scouts he also has the physical attributes to be an NFL quarterback.
