He was impressive at the combine. Unfortunately we just aren't in a situation where we can spend a 1st day pick on a guy who really has no position at this point. If he somehow falls to the 5th round, fine. But it's highly unlikely he drops that far

I wouldn't worry. He won't be drafted with any of our top picks. Now if he's there after round 4 ... :D

I agree... with the time he ran... he may be ore of a big WR than a small TE... but not on Day 1!

Im guessin if Parcells wants Jones he will trade down one of our 1st round picks and get a extra 3rd rounder. He wouldnt be a bad choice to add to the roster.

I also remember people saying he was checking him out at the Senior Bowl.

Might be something to it.
