Best mock ever. I'd poop bricks if we got those picks.
Iffy on Iljana, but he seems smart and willing to learn all positions. I'll take it.

I got to watch 2 Villanova playoff games and on the many plays I was able to see him, he didn't get beat. He was playing LT too. The draft gurus have him moving to OG in the NFL, but I say he could make a great RT. I honestly believe he could be Colombo's replacement.

I actually think Mark LeGree will be pretty good too. Not a I-A school, but coming down with 20 picks is still no easy task for I-AA.

We need that kind of ballhawk in our secondary

Makes the corners better when they can play downhill.
These guys miss the security of knowing Ken Hamlin wouldn't give up the deep ball. Wasn't the best safety ever, but when you know you can let guys run with no worries, it makes it a lot easier for you to play the guys in front of you.

I think Dallas is going to go lineman in the first two rounds.
As far as strong safety goes, I read a few accounts where AO, 2010's 4th round pick has been viewed as a potential strong safety.
IF that's the case, then I think the 3rd rounder is either the top rated free safety or the top rated corner still left on the board.

LOVE that you know Donald Buckram.
Was my RB in high school my sophomore year.

Do we have two 6th round picks? I thought the McQuistan pick would only switch us positions in the 6th with the Fins if they had a higher pick.

I know him cause he was a running machine, but then when they played the Horns, the coach never gave him the ball, even when the game was close. What a waste of a weapon.
BTW, I know Vittatoe too...he beat my Judson Rockets for the state title when he played at Euless Trinity. It was a game where Judson had a 14-0 lead, and ended up losing 28-14. Vittatoe didn't do much that game, but he still got the trophy...

SS now? It would be just like this team to bounce him from position to position, never play him and then either A) Cut him and get no compensation or B) Start him and watch him get burned repeatedly because the team never took his development seriously enough to commit to him learning a single position

Love the picks but Morris will not reach the 7th round and if he does it is a steal. He is projected to go in the 2nd or 3rd.

I used the draft rankings from CBSsports.com. I also use NFLDraftScout.com. Both of these sites tend to do a pretty good job of ranking players.
Now remember, no combine or pro days have happened yet. No underclassmen declarations have been posted yet....so these rankings and my mock will change....
Not a fan of trading out of top 10-12, but those are excellent picks all the way thru the 6th round.
Quality mock.

BTW, if Herzlich is there in the 3rd, I do not know if we should take him or Sturdivant. I believe both will be sound options.
