Without a doubt you will find the browsing experience much nicer with Firefox...
and your pc won't get loaded up with spyware...

Go Firefox and you'll be happy.
There are plenty of us here that are 'advanced' users that can throw some tips and tricks your way as well.

That depends on the web site.
This site used to do that, but with the recent upgrade it has been fixed.
Oh and for the record....Firefox over IE.
Question for someone, as I am too lazy.
Anyway you can fix it so the download manager does not pop up everytime you click on a music or video file?

Foxfire
Anyone brings up IE on my computer and they get an ear full.
My system runs faster for a longer period of time w/ foxfire cuz it doesn't load a bunch of spyware crap on the system. Plus you don't have the headaches of the IE holes for the hackers.
And I love the tab feature

The thing that IMO Firefox needs....is better skins/themes.
That is one area where I thought that Opera really has an advantage over Firefox.
I currently use Noia Lite.....but have been less then thrilled with the skins/thems available.

May I suggest Firefox to you? Browsing the net with an old Clint Eastwood movie must be taxing at times...

LOL
Just so you know....that movie was FireFox.
However FoxFire was a book about some girls that later was made into a movie.

Firefox.....
It's kinda funny how people still use IE with all the warnings out there.....
Even funnier how I.T. guys keep IE just for job security.......

I use Firefox at work as well....before that I used Opera.
I use IE on rare occasions, just because I do not care to waste the time, at the time, of downloading plug ins for Firefox.
The wife still uses IE at home, I need to get her to switch over, but she is not exactly computer friendly if you get my drift lol.
Besides I know I have my home page (here) set and my favorites...if the wife starts using it she will have a 1,000 bookmarks and such and I do not feel like wading through them or pruning the bookmarks after so long....I am a lazy bastid sometimes. :D
