I'm taking a shot in case any of you would know what I'm looking for.

We want to put a GPS tracking device on my grandmother's car (she's still well enough to drive but has a tendency to get lost), but I'm having trouble finding a good one. What I want is something I can put in her car and then if need be check a website to get a location. I know I've seen this on tv but I'm having trouble finding something that isn't for fleets of trucks or for gps location while your in the vehicle.

Thanks

There was an article in my local paper this morning about a person who had their car stolen with their iPhone in it. The phone had some kind of "find me" app (downloaded for free) that allowed the owner to track the car on his computer and they caught the guys. It was after a high speed chase, and the car was totalled, but apparently the app allowed the cops to locate the car at a Sonic about 2 hours away.

Maybe get your grandmother a smart phone with that app??

Smartphone 99.99 w/ 2 year contract

Data Pkg: 19.99 / month

Minutes 39.99/month

Family Plan where grams share your minutes wouldn't be so bad. You still need a seperate data plan for the phone however.

Find my Phone Android app is like .99 cents
