...and $665K.

The Steelers made a one-year qualifying offer to the 4th year RB/FB today

He'd be a bargain if he could be acquired at somewhere around that price, and our 5th rnd pick IMO. He's a perfect fit to step in for a retiring R. Anderson.

He's a player who's stock is on the rise, and I'd prefer to burn a 5th rnd pick on a player you've seen for 3 years, and know about.

For a 5th round pick I think he would be a good choice.

Guy is a good player, however I will say this, many a RB has looked good in that Pittsburgh system/o-line.

Either way I don't think you could get a player as good as him, on average, with a 5th....so I agree he would be a good value.

Killer idea. 5th rounders are not a sure thing but this kid looks like he is. Always seemed to impress when I saw him.

I brought that up earlier today.

Parcells raved about the player before the Pittsburgh game. Even mentioned him later in the season during a press conference. I would do it.

I say we take out chances with Bickerstaff and Lee. Bickerstaff looks like a tweener and should be hungry enough to block for Jones. I'd rather stay lean at RB this year and load up on OL, DL and CB.

But he is a good player. I just don't want to give up a draft pick.

This would be an awesome use of a 5th rounder

Parcells wants another Richie Anderson--this is him

Make it happen JJ and then the RB issue will be addressed.

If those kids were healthy and proven I might be tempted to agree.

I don't know what the story on Lee is. He proved himself to me so it's got to be just Parcells distrust just cause or he's done something to not earn his trust. He can run the ball altho he's not JJ.

Bickerstaff should be able to come back from the injury but you're right. He's never really shown anything but promise at the college or pro level.

Still no picks on RBs IMO. Too much need elsewhere to make this a viable team.

We have got to stop the hemorrhaging on defense otherwise who cares who carries the ball. Or throws it to whom. We'll still lose.

I think his inability to be decent in pass protection is the prob.

I don't disagree believe me.

But we have Bledsoe now!!!!

Davenport will cost a fourth round pick.

either one would be a good choice.

Hey, Id give up a fourth for Davenport AND a fifth for Haynes and call it a day.

I would give up a 5th for Haynes right now, What's a 5th round pick anyway?, wasn't ours last year Sean Ryan?
