I used to lurk occasionally but when I went there to see what they had to say about the Tucson shooting I see that it is down. Did it get too polarized or what?

You are correct. Spintopia is permanently offline. The site had received several copyright infringement notices due to members posting full articles there.

That is regrettable, but hopefully members of this site can reflect on what happened with that site whenever he/she decides to post articles on this site. Articles are always welcome, but members should continue posting either a summary or just a short excerpt along with posting the link to the article itself every time. In other words, give credit where credit is due. :)

We posted full articles (including me), and the site was punished accordingly. We were all to blame. Learn from our poor example.
