Trotter was scheduled to be a free agent anyways.
He was not released. He was just not re-signed.

Trotter would be most effective in a blitz-happy type defense. That's how his career was revitalized in Philly, but what does Zimmer know about blitz packages?

I doubt he'd come to Dallas, he's badmouthed us many times in the past, both as an Eagle and a Skin. Then again while in Washington he badmouthed his former team and they took him back.

Interesting... and he is a local boy and Cowboy fan from my area...
Phoenix-Talon hinted that the iggles are working a deal to get Urlacher... perhaps he is right...

'Pass rush specialist'. That's funny. Not.

Perhaps but he has been injured the last two years hasn't he? If he goes to the Eagles it may not be such a bad thing for Chicago. They could probably swing a multi team deal out of it.

Didn't Urlacher recently get voted the most overrated player in the NFL?

I think your right. IMO he is highly overrated. He definitely won't make me forget about Mike Singletary. And is he going to wear those stupid black glare strips under his eyes in every commercial he does?
