too bad their pop-up doesn't function for me. It pops up and all I get is the black background with the "send to a friend" envelope link in the middle. :(

I had to turn it off when they kept playing that damn clip of the guy singing like a woman. I'm all for funny radio talk and all, but a lot of their bits are just plain stupid and not funny.

I'm at work and we've got great IT guys. And since I work in IT, well, I can't just abuse the corporate computer usage policies, too much, by listening to streaming radio, now can I?

they said nothing that was worth listening to. like we should sign Mason. .
Smith22
03-02-2005, 11:11 AM
Few things:
Ferguson deal sounds done, Henry is in the works.
Don't expect the signings to stop there, we will be very aggressive.
Followed by many skits that some find funny I suppose.

One guy commented Blaylock would be a nice pickup at RB.
Mentioned WR's some, said most of them would be very expensive.
hardcorebob

Blaylock would be an excellent pickup. What a great 1-2 RB situation we would have and I think we would be set for quite some time.

IMO, The Ticket is sports radio for people who think Saturday Night Live now is better than it was at the beginning or in the early-mid 90's.

I agree.
You listen thinking you are getting some scoop, but really the best thing is the old Dave Campo my achin' balls skit.
Mentioning that Derrick Blaylock would be a "good signing" is something I can hear from any message board nerd.

From the 15 minutes I've listened to this programming, I have come to the conclusion that Dallas era residents should be given some sort of government disaster aid. Simply a horrible show.

I thought I had the wrong channel or something....I got the link to work and heard guys just messing around, and not much talk of sports at all. I thought I had the wrong channel. Thanks for setting me straight on theticket's format, a 'comedy' of errors ???
Are they always like that on this channel ???

Well, Norm is away today, and he usually has some decent news and tidbits that he'll throw out. But most of the time, he's not a lot better than these two idiots.

It really bothered me that the Ticket, during Emmitt's press conference, constantly interrupted it by having a DJ say that we're listening to the ticket or running a promo saying that we are listening to the ticket.
Most sports radio stations hire DJ's that have a decent amount of sports knowledge but not an exceptional amount. Half of it is being entertaining or comedic as to draw an audience. Oftentimes, they tend to focus so much on the latter that they just come out of it sounding like idiots.
Most of our local stations here in Salt Lake do a pretty good job. Just like the Ticket though, there's some bad ones to be had.
