Oddly enough, I kind of like this actually. I was all ready to say I didn't, but I wouldn't be upset as long as we aren't trading down with a top teir guy still on the board in the 1st.

martez wilson idk...i like his size and all...hopefully the instincts is there. He might blow up at the combine but he looks like a late 2nd or early 3rd right now.

In a draft light on ILB's a 6-3/250 who can run will rise.
He's 34 right now on NFLDS.

When have we ever profited from making multiple trade backs to horde picks? We have always been FAR more successful when we stay put and take BPA. This team isn't rebuilding. We aren't that far away. Five draft picks might not make this roster, let alone 9.

First of all there is no guarantee that 6's and 7's are going to make the roster.
If you can't look at our roster and get rid of 9 stiffs you are clueless.
Brooking, Colombo, Barron, Manny, Barber, pick a scrub DE and 2 scrub LB's. McCray and Upchurch.
I'd go get you some more names if I felt like looking it up.

I wouldn't do this with PP or maybe Prince on the board. Not a huge Prince fan.
Trying to think outside the box.
Our front 7 doesn't have enough playmakers and Bradie has to go soon. Very soon hopefully. Get the number one SILB prospect on the board who has the size but doesn't run a 4.8+ like Bradie and Brooking.
Pouncey/Gilbert are both highly rated at their positions and have already played next to each other for 2 or so years at RG and RT.
Powe/Price adds size and depth to NT freeing up Rat to DE or where ever we want to line them up.
Moffitt is the best LG prospect in the draft IMO.
Shorts dynamic WR and return man freeing up Dez from some ST duties.
Hynoski.......big, bruising blocker with great hands. 25 catches this year, 15 the year before.
Lutrus good ILB depth. Good in coverage.
