Not sure how much the Cowboys need to be pursuing self-centered egotistical head cases who want a lot of money - history seems to me to be against this sort of move.

I would never have thought about Vincent Jackson to Dallas but if it was a possibility who would be better in the long run: Vincent Jackson or Roy Williams ?

No way. He's great, but WR is nowhere near being a need right now. That money should be used to upgrade the secondary and trenches.

Who is a better fit when you have Miles Austin and Dez Bryant? Roy has kind of shown he can take a back seat to those guys. Can Jackson?

Whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa:? BTW that draft he got picked w/a 3rd round pick, I wanted him to be a Cowboy so bad, now though, meh, not really.

That article is so full of fail and incorrect information and by the way author Dez is a Big physical WR as well.
Man where do people get this stuff; did they watch the Cowboys at all last year Hell Austin had what 500 yards before Romo's injury.
WR was not the issue

That's not the question, though. The question is, what would be better in Dallas: getting Vincent Jackson or using that money on other acquisitions in areas of greater need? Like, say, Logan Mankins?

Why would Jackson want to sign with Dallas when he will probably play 3rd fiddle to Miles and Dez? (Roy would have to be gone to get Jackson)

What an awesome idea!
This would give us the greatest foursome of wide receivers in NFL history!
We'd be unstoppable!!!!
Just give us the trophy now!

I think Jackson is a very good WR and his talent would help any team out there but I don't see him in the cards for the Cowboys at the cost he is demanding and with other needs this team has. In a perfect situation with no cap ramification I would take him in a heart beat.

The article says the Cowboys will be in trouble if they don't keep brining in the big WR's ......... does he think Miles, Dez and Roy are the size of Rocket Ismael?

Let's just wait for Plax to be the next Vick. He'll come back and be an MVP candidate for us. Haha. Miles, Dez and Roy are adequate. They need to work on their defense first.

Don't think so. He'll want to be a #1 and get paid like one, and he's not going to do that here with Miles Austin and Dez Bryant ahead of him on the depth chart.

I don't believe that Roy will be gone, the question is will Jerry spend 12 mil to cut him and then pay another WR to play...

In other news under the new CBA the NFL have decided to give the Cowboys double the cap space of the rest of NFL teams. So they can sign every single player that every fan wants to a contract.

it makes sense..
why when my nephew was playing Madden the other day, I was telling that's exactly what he needs for his Cowboys..
make it so, Jerrah..
Ps: They should also sign Randy Moss, just in case one of the top 4 gets injured.. Randy would be more than happy to finally be wearing the uniform he always wanted to wear.

.... I miss having Rocket on the team.
But yeah, I guess Miles, Dez and Roy got hit with a shrink ray or something.

He's too good to take a backseat to just about anybody. Especially after the year Miles Austin had. Vincent Jackson can put up better production. We're going to have to stick with what we've got at WR.

And as much as I would like VJax here so we could have the WR group of all time, this will never ever happen.

That must be your view of the process...mine was, I understood your post without a Cliff Notes or political view associated, meaning a need to protest intensely for sake of disagreement. Implied irony. Their presentation format, irrespective of content, involves a toilsome and prolonged method of delivery....although I'm not a physician, to give creable reference to home remedies, I do understand time consuming and yield effectiveness.

What I am saying is I do not bother reading their site. I have not logged onto it in over a year, nor will I. It is worthless. This article is evidence.
I do not surf trash sites for football news. It is a trash site.

Oh, sometimes they have an informative article that is useful...and not just an interpretation of applications.
That suggests a 'political' element...Made In America.
But NO disagreement as to general usefullness...only categorizing the disgust in use. Which did NOT differ between yours and my posts.
