This is bad but for other reasons and not for that. In the long run it won't matter about their oil. Look up Israel's finds of oil and energy reserves off their coasts in the past year and you'll see where we already have our companies at work on them.

What's going to be the problem is the economic hardship and the ease with which stirring up this kind of dissent will be caused by it. They read the papers, they know what Israel discovered and the Muslim Brotherhood is using it to move forward and attempt to overthrow the Western friendly government of Egypt.
