Mike Preston of the Baltimore Sun is reporting that some Ravens players had an issue about the length of practices in the week leading up to the Ravens - Steelers playoff game.

Preston adds that some players threatened to go to the players' union and the media. Some players apparently took exception to the fact that coach John Harbaugh did not give them enough rest heading into the game, yet Preston does not give any details into which players made the threats. While this may be water under the bridge, it's still disconcerting given how close the team came to winning.

Mike Preston: Issue with practices
During the week leading up to the Pittsburgh playoff game, some of the players had an issue with head coach John Harbaugh about the length of practices and whether the Ravens had been given the proper amount of time off to rest.

As a team, both sides came to an agreement but there were some tense moments with some players even threatening to go the players' union and the media.

Isnt that against the rules? and the Ravens should be fined money and possibly a draft pick?

I thought the Ravens were supposed to be one of the toughest teams in the league... what's all this whining?

You were up 21-7 in the game and you had two boneheaded turnovers to get them back in it. Seems like a little bit of whining to me.

Probably Ray Lewis is the one doing at whining. He is the one close to the union, right?

R U kidding me?
Ray Lewis is the hardest worker on the team and he is searching for a Super Bowl to retire on.

He is also the loudest mouth on the team. Plus he has his union ties. My money is on him being the one

I wouldn't put money on it.
:D

The Ravens are tough and physical, bu they are whiners, especially with respect to officiating.

The Ravens gift-wrapped the game to the Steelers. They oughta be spanking themselves for not winning that game.
