More than two and a half years after Minnesota defensive linemen Kevin Williams and Pat Williams first failed a drug test for ingesting a supplement called StarCaps, the NFL may finally be able to suspend the two players.

Greg Aiello of the NFL and Brian Murphy of the St. Paul Pioneer Press both pass along word Tuesday that the Minnesota Court of Appeals has affirmed the lower court ruling in favor of the NFL. In theory, Murphy points out, this should allow the league to follow through on four game suspensions for the players.

It should be double after all that mess and a super bowl win for the saints.

I agree. Now that Minn is not going anywhere the suspension will have little effect but when it was 1st handed down they were about to hit the playoffs.

totally agree buddy, i still think that judge that ruled way back there and blocked the nfl from suspending the 2 vikings players was in cohoots with the vikings because that judge was a vikings fan, and he wanted to keep them both playing so they could make a superbowl run

now that farve is retiring finally and no super qb and with supreme court overrulling that judge, there is nothing that judge can do now
