Albert Haynesworth - DL - Redskins Albert Haynesworth has been charged with simple assault after turning himself in for a "road rage" incident last week.
This had been expected all along, as Haynesworth made it clear that he would cooperate with authorities before fighting the charge in court. Both versions of the road rage story are believable. The other man claims Haynesworth lost his cool, got out of his truck, and threw a punch. Haynesworth's camp claims the other man knew it was the millionaire defensive tackle in the truck and escalated the situation in search of an easy payday. Haynesworth is scheduled to appear in Fairfax County Criminal Court on March 31.

So, driver A knew it was Haynesworth and escalated the incident to make this a payday.

The only person that makes you mad is you, Albert. If you don't allow someone to goad you into throwing a punch, then all this never happens.

So your decision to throw a punch is independent of anything else that happened and makes you liable.

Write a check now and save yourself the grief.

I was gonna say it couldn't have been too complicated. He'd have gotten gassed and took a knee until the cops arrived.
