I have complained about this friend that is a Steelers fan. Talking bad about my team, talking good about his. Telling me that he needs to go get another t-shirt with 7 trophies on it...

After the Superbowl...when I saw him? I said nothing but, "what up?" He looked beat...I loved it. I never rubbed it in his face, like people like to rib me about the Cowboys.

I even bought the fool a beer...just because! I loved every minute of it.

Then I looked at the ladies...
(well, not like Ruthlessraper)

Haha LOL.

Suddenly I don't have to hear how clutch Ben R is anymore...it got disgusting.

He better thank his lucky stars he had that drive in the Arizona Super Bowl, because outside of that he has been horrid.

He had nothing to do with the first Super Bowl win. A large part of the reason they lost the Super Bowl this year. Overrated.

Come on now, I love to put the overrated Label on Ben Rothlisberger too, but thats not true. Now winning that SB game itself, sure he played Horrible.

But the SB run, was major part due to Ben. He laid a major egg in SB game, but lets not take away everything because of that one game.

Second, in this game, he did fail to be clutch, but he wasn't as bad as he was in the first SB win of his.

Although I love the fact that Stealer fans are now going to be quite. But I expect the Pukers fans to rise to their obnoxious levels that they did during Farve SB win aftermath.

:laugh2: The Packers are the Champs. The SB trophy goes back to where it came from.

Not in Pittsburg.

I am strictly talking about the three Super Bowls.

Yeah, I know. But you said he had nothing to do with winning SB. To get to SB, also matters, not just winning that game itself IMO. Its not like he was the QB for the SB game only. If he played bad all through playoff games or even avg ala Trent Dilfer, we can agree that he pretty much sucked. Thats not the case or was not case.

Love the fact that Stealers and he failed in SB. That doesn't mean he sucks as QB, would love that to be true though.

There was a short woman at a bar in a Roethlisberger jersey during the Super Bowl who cackled so loudly - and disgustingly - and in such a bulging-eyed, high pitched voice - (during a Packers dropped pass) that I wanted to slap her.

I later came over to her table again after the game's end, just to rub it in. As it is, I decided not to. I enjoyed her dejected face though.

I tell ya what. Being that I live so dang close to Pittsburgh, and especially where I work (we built all of the frames for Mitsubishi that go into that monster jumbo-tron at Cowboys Stadium) ... it was like a huge weight had been lifted off my shoulders. Every day leading up to the Super Bowl something was said about my Cowboys and my stadium.

Steelers' fans just knew they were going to win 7 that day; that nothing could stop them. The Pittsburgh media and their fans never had a doubt in their minds that they were going to lose. It was a given. All of those stupid Super Bowl songs I had to hear on every radio station were being played. Texts and e-mails were flying around about the Steelers and their impending victory. It was nauseating to say the least.

So after the loss.... I exhaled! Not to mention I gave as good as I got. Those pukes became fair game. I took a beating just about all season. So believe me... I got some shots in to just add salt to the wound. Nobody remembers the runner-up in a Super Bowl, unless you're the Buffalo Bills (4 X's over).

It was a good day in western PA come Monday. Heck, it has been a great offseason with Jason Garrett assembling his staff. The only downer is this CBA crap. Let's all hope that an agreement is reached before the start of training camp. Let's Go Cowboys!!!

I disagree. He's a rotten raper playing quarterback for the Steelers. He deserves everything he gets.

I only know one Steelers fan I really wanted to rub it in their face but I've hardly seen him around work since the game and, truthfully, the guy hardly speaks to me in the first place (we really don't like one another) so I imagine he's avoided me more than usual since he knows i'd make a comment about the Packers win.

On Christmas night, right after Dallas lost to Arizona, my wifes family calls me and says sarcastically, "Merry Christmas". They are HUGE Steeler fans. I was pissed but calmly told them to expect a call after Pitt gets beat in the playoffs.

As the playoffs went on, I was feeling sick thinking about having to listen to their crap after Pitt won #7 in our stadium. I was quietly rooting for the Packers in the NFC because I felt they were the only ones that could beat Pitt.

Low and behold, right after the SB I got to make a few calls of my own. Of course they didnt answer so I left a message apologizing for forgetting to wish them "HAPPY NEW YEAR". I ended by saying "how bout them Packers" and texting them this picture. Haven't heard from them since.......

Give it up, buddy. You're in CowboysZone where the arch-enemy either cheats, steals, shoots up (steroids) or has the refs on the payroll and where failure negates clutch-moments or outstanding performances. You are defined by your last failure. Except if you're the Cowboys, then it's blame it on the mediots. :laugh2:

Funny, you never seem to apply a similar criteria to Romo in your attempts to discredit him.

Can you tell me when Romo last had a clutch moment in a big game like, oh, getitng a team to an NFC Championship or winning a Super Bowl? I must have missed it. ;)

Why is it only a "big" game if we lose. And you're telling me that sweeping the Eagles last year or the N.O. game (just to name a few recent ones, there are plenty more examples) were not big games? If playoff games are your only measuring stick than 4 games is a pretty small sample size. Do you really think that Brady, P. Manning or Rogers would have stood a chance in winning Vikings playoff debacle? The only playoff loss I blame Romo for is the Seattle game as a special teamer, not a qb.

I'm sorry. Are we making excuses for Romo? I made a simple observation. When has Romo led a late drive to win a Championship Game or a Super Bowl? I'm not talking about Brady. I'm not talking about P. Manning. I'm not talking about Rogers. They don't quarterback this team. Romo does. Funny how you guys want to compare Romo to quarterbacks who have won the Super Bowl. Sorry, but he aint in that bracket yet. Heck, he aint even in the NFC Championship bracket yet.

Now unless you prefer your Cowboys quarterbacks like Danny White, it will always be a relevant point. If Romo leads Dallas to a NFC Championship win and onto the Super Bowl, then it no longer becomes relevant. Until then, you're relegated to "what if" scenarios.
