Curtis Marsh: A potential top-five CB prospect?

One of the most frequent e-mails I have received over the past month since the launch of the NFP draft page is: Why do you have Curtis Marsh as a top five cornerback prospect…and who is he?

Curtis Marsh is a 6-0, 194-pound, long-armed cornerback from Utah State. He’s only a one-year starter at the position following the move from running back after the 2008 season.

I will admit that coming into 2010, I never even heard of Marsh. However, as I was grinding my way through tape late in the year and was watching Utah State vs. Boise State, there was one guy who made it nearly impossible for Broncos wideouts Austin Pettis and Titus Young to consistently gain separation from. Sure enough that’s when I discovered Marsh.

The second round could be a good CB spot for Dallas. The third could be, too. That guy from SW Missouri State is good. It's deep, and if you don't or can't get Peterson, there are plenty of guys in this draft who will be drafted in rounds 2, 3, and 4. Dallas will probably take a CB in this draft due to the number of quality prospects in this draft, and I'd look at these rounds. Peterson is likely going to go at least in the top 5, with all those defensive players having question marks in the top half of the top 10. I could be wrong. We will see.

totally agree buddy,

i think cowboys will either look at cb or safety

but that we have a young starting safety on our team now
Ansah

and i think we have a future unheard of shut down cb in teddy williams and that rob ryan after working with him can bring him along, if he is wise enough to get in and study under ryan, rob

bold statement there (pun intended :D ) he seems awfully raw , hopefully he shows enough on special teams to make the roster this year . Looking foward to hearing more about him and AOA's progress is they ever get a new CBA bastards

Curtis Marsh is a player and guy to target in rounds 3-5.
