View Full Version : I wont be surprised if we sign Hartwell.

Hartwell is supposed to be stoppin by Dallas Thursday. I hope Im right on this but I have a feelin he will be a Cowboy. I think there is a good chane of this cuz he is a proven good LB. That would be another great move by Dallas. It would leave us some more room to get a good OL in FA.
Another reason I think that Hartwell will be signed is cuz I think Parcells really has his eye on Mike Williams. I think we are gonna move up for either Williams or if that costs to much then expect us to make a move for Derick Johnson.
If we can get Hartwell I think DJ will be the only real defensive player Parcells will go after with any of our 1sts or our 2nd. Maybe Merriman is possible but I think with the way things are lookin in FA we are gonna go after offense in the draft.
If we cant get either DJ Mike Williams or Merriman at #11 Im pretty sure we trade down with that pick.

Merriman Eramus or Johnson 1st pick
Williamson crayton with 2nd
Marlin jackson in 2nd rd

I do agree with your assesment on Mike Williams and Derrick Johnson though.
If I had to guess, one of those two will be cowboys.
If they go too early, Merriman will be the pick.
1 of those three is a lock, IMO.

I really haven't heard much news about Hartwell and am pretty surprised by that.
Who would even be his suitors?

Man, Ill be glad when the drafts over and all the Derrick Johnson, Mike Williams talk is done. We're getting bigger at LB and faster at wr, not smaller and slower.
