im in the process of car shopping and a car that really interest me is the 2011 honda civic 4 door. I drove it around today and its a really nice ride. My question is, do you have a 2011 honda civic 4 door sedan or know anybody that has one? If so, how do you like it? Any opinions would be appreciated.

Check consumer reports.

I've owned three Honda's in my 33 years of driving, an Accord and two Civic's. I currently drive an 2004 Civic and I would recommend an Civic and the drop on a hat.

Like the other poster mentioned, check Consumer Reports. (http://www.consumerreports.org/cro/index.htm)

You just can't go wrong with a Honda.

I have a 2006 Civic and love it. I got 46 mpg highway on one vacation and 42 mpg highway on another. I get around 26 mpg city. It is an awesome car. Quite roomy inside, good trunk space. Honda service is terrific. Sharp-looking car. Easy to drive and a great windshield view. Dashboard is easy to see also.

I like the looks of the Honda Crosstour. Haven't test drove one yet.

I have a 2008 Civic coupe and although I'm not the one driving it, she loves it. When I do drive it, its like driving a go-cart. :)

I like the looks of the Honda Crosstour. Haven't test drove one yet.I like the Crosstour also, but will wait until they are about 3 or 4 years old to consider one... if I am in the market for a car at that point. Not going to pay 30K plus for a car. I'll be keeping an eye on Crosstour's progress regardless.

If you've got the money to buy a new Honda Civic, why not just get a Certified Pre-owned Honda Accord instead? Buy one that's a couple of years old, with not that many miles on it. And let someone else take that huge depreciation hit on a new car. Plus you end up with a car that is a lot smoother and more comfortable than a Civic. The Civic is the most fatiguing car i've ever driven. I cannot recommend one to anyone.

No, they don't.

As for the car itself, before you buy one, take a long look at the Hyundai Sonota (especially the Turbo version), Ford Focus and Chevy Cruze, I think the Civic styling is dull as heck at this point and Honda has become as stagnant as the domestic Automakers used to be.
