# 56 Chike Okeafor
Position: DE
Height: 6-4
Weight: 265
Born: 03/27/1976
College: Purdue
NFL Experience: 6

I haven't heard much about this guy.

Because he is average?

Because no one can pronounce his name?

Too light?

With 8.5 sacks, he seems pretty solid. Maybe on a DLine with Glover, Ferguson, and Ellis he can be more than solid.

Should we be targeting this guy?

Yr. .... Team .................... Games ...... Tkls ........ Sacks
2004 Seattle Seahawks ___ 16 ______ 53 _______ 8.5

Chike came up with the 49ers. As far as I know, he's an average pass rusher and not much else. If he's fast enough to play OLB in the 3-4, my interest would increase dramatically.

Like Chike, Bryce Fisher is really flying under the radar. He finally started more than 2 games in a season last year (14) and managed to put up a respectable 46 tackles, 8.5 sacks and 2 forced fumbles. Sizes up at 6-3 272. Whether or not he can duplicate those numbers is anyones guess, but if he came cheap enough I would be willing to gamble.

I'm still hoping the Bucs have to let Rice go free for cap reasons.

Fisher is the DE I would like to see Dallas sign.

Fisher is pretty fast and has nice moves... I too would like to see him here

I saw him do the spin move just like how Dwight Freeney does it... He's capable of plays like that... though he's not as quick as Freeney

R. Hayward of the Denver Broncos seems to be an up and coming DE he had 10.5 sacks last year and might be had for a decent price.

If you're gonna dream, dream big. I would love to see that guy on the corner.

Afraid he's gonna take some major coinage but I would be looking to play for a contender if I were him so he may be willing to deal with the Bucs and whomever. I think somebody would want him bad enough to pay the Bucs for him via some kind of trade scenario.

As far as I'm concerned, if we're staying with the 4-3, we ain't getting anyone worth a damn to replace Wiley, Ekuban and the long history of Charles Haley wanna-bes. We blew our chance last year. Guys like Berry, Kearse and Wistrom don't come around that often. Not forking out the cash for Berry will be the one offseason mistake we will continue to regret. I can live without the corners and some of the other people we didn't sign in our laid back off season last year but we blew it at DE. Our only chance to is to find a hidden gem in the draft.

That would be this year's "Kearse" signing. But better in my opinion. I would hope Bill and Jerry would jump all over it if the Bucs let Rice go.

Don't sleep on Carlos Hall-DE from the Titans! I'm hoping we can snatch him up fairly quickly and on the "cheaps".....
