That's the debate right now among NFL teams regarding former Purdue defensive end Ryan Kerrigan, who is scheduled to participate in this week's NFL Scouting Combine at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis. The event runs Thursday through March 1.
With the Boilermakers, Kerrigan was a dedicated defensive end his last two seasons whose No. 1 objective was to rush the quarterback and create havoc. As an outside linebacker in a 3-4 scheme, Kerrigan would be asked to drop into pass coverage and make more reads.
