I'm sure some of the guitar players on this forum have heard of The Amazing Slowdowner.

If you want a cool tool to learn songs with, this is a great one. You can practice with this tool at any tempo you want without losing any pitch.

It's great to work with tabs while learning a song...just set the speed/tempo that you are comfortable playing at, and the pitch remains the same. I use it all the time and forgot to mention it in the other guitar threads.

It's good for beginners/intermediate...and even advanced! :)

Has anyone else used this? This software is one of the most valuable tings that I have spend money on to learn to play the guitar as bad as I do.

try it...you will like it.

I've never seen it before. It plays the song at different speeds? I seldom play along with music. I probably should. It probably wouldn't sound as bad when I play it. :laugh2:

I use it with my music books. If the song is too fast to start learning right off the bat, I just run it through Amazing Slowdowner and put it at the tempo/speed that I can follow...and the pitch does not change, it's just slows the song down.
