1. SF---- Alex Smith QB

2. Mia.--- Cedrick Benson RB

3. Cle.---- Derrick Johnson LB

4. Chi. ------ Antrell Rolle CB

5. TB------- Cadilac Williams RB

6. Tenn----- Braylon Edwards WR

7. Minny----- Ronny Brown RB (Finnally they get the Top RB they've been missing)

8. AZ------ Aaron Rodgers QB

9. Was------ Shawne Merriman DE :(

10. Det----- Travis Johnson DT

11 Dal------- Mike Williams WR

All of the teams are in need of the positions that are filled by the projections and they are big holes. The only Wild card here is the minny selection. They need a RB in the worst way. Mwelde Moore is ok but I don't think he is the long term answer and the RB by committe with guys being hurt and or suspended. Ronny Brown would be a great pick up for them there.

Just my thoughts. Feel free to send me to the whipping post. ;)

I am not in love with Mike Williams as much as many are. Having said that if he is available at #11 I would be very happy to have him. Won't get any flames (whips) here with that mini mock.

Why would Washington take Merriman when they are in need of offense? I promise you that Mike Williams will not get past them if he is still on the board when they pick.

I don't think that Mike Williams will get past the Vikings, anyway.

LMAO Why the hell would minny go after another RB? They have 4 who can start in this league? Minny will get Mike Williams to replace Randy Moss.

No way Minn uses a first round pick on a RB. They have Micheal Bennett and Onterrio Smith, not to mention Mwelde Moore who isn't bad either.

They might look to get a WR, but I expect them to go Defense. Nap Harris means they probably won't be looking for a LB round 1. Probably Dline and secondary, they don't have much back there aside from Winfield.

Also Moe Williams who could start.

Yeah. They probably have the deepest backfield in the league.

Because when people do mocks they often make the mistake of fudging the whole thing so that the players they like fall to their favorite teams.

i dunno Minny has reports of trading Bennett and their first round pick to Arz for Boldin.

he might be right, but I would rather have Edwards than Williams personally

I have one big problem with this...Antrell Rolle will never be picked in the top ten...and he certainly won't be picked ahead of Adam "Pac Man" Jones.

Pac Man is not as good as Rolle

Pac Man wont live in this league especially with the new contact rule, Pac Man relys on playing too physical. IMO

That draft is bogus. Travis Johnson won't go tenth. Indianapolis will unload James to the Dolphins and they'll get Cedric Benson. Not to mention Aaron Rodgers won't slip out of the top 3.

Antrell Rolle isn't fast enough...mark my words Adam Jones will be the first corner taken in the draft and maybe the first defensive player taken. I say he goes to Tennessee at 6, because they lost both starting CB's.

I wouldn't be surprised to see Cleveland try to move down a couple of spots (if anyone will trade with them) to get a couple more picks and then draft Merriman. Also, sounded like Gruden is really high on Ronnie Brown out of Auburn, even moreso than Cadillac.

Another thing about Tennessee...if they don't get Adam Jones, they will definately be getting Mike Williams. New offensive coordinator, Norm Chow(used to be OC of USC) is pressing hard to get Fisher to draft him.

I agree with Dragon, there is no way Washington will allow Williams to go by them if he is still available when they pick.

The draft this year isn't going to be very predictable, I think. Most years theres a pretty clear cut to 5-8. This year theres not a clear cut #1.

That's a pretty bold prediction. Is there anything to support that? I mean, it makes sense, but I haven't seen news of it since Edge signed his new deal.

Yes PacMan is faster but Rolle is quick and big at 6'1 pacman is 5'11 with the TO / Mike Williams / Randy Moss' of the league the corners have no choice but to get bigger.

I see it like this:

1> San Fran - Aaron Rodgers (QB)
2> Miami - Cedric Benson (RB)
3> Cleveland - Adam Jones (CB)
4> Chicago - Derrick Johnson (LB)
5> Tampa Bay - Ronnie Brown (RB)
6> Tennessee - Braylon Edwards (WR)
7> Minnesota - Mike Williams (WR)
8> Arizona - Alex Smith (QB)
9> Washington - Troy Williamson (DE)
10> Detroit - Shawne Merriman (DE)

Rodgers is a Bay area hero had a great combine. Miami takes a RB, guaranteed, whether it's Benson or one of the Auburn boys. Cleveland just lost a starting corner, and despit the disbelief of all the cyber GMs, it looks like Pacman will be the first CB off the board. Chicago seems wed to Grossman. If I'm picking for the Bears I'm taking Alex Smith. But I think they go defense and DJ is the best defensive player in the draft. Ronnie Brown is a big RB with all-around skills, a perfect fit for the Tampa offense. Tennesse needs to replace two top-tier starners in Mason and Rolle. Could replace Sumari with Antrel, but I don't think they pass on Edwards. Minnesota dumps one 6'5" receiver and brings in another. Washington wanted Williams, but Williamson is a nice consolation. Detroit would be scary with a stud TE in that offense, but not this high. They're thin at DE, to ;shawne is the man. Could go with James, but his forty will prolly cause him to slide.

Edge got Rosenhaus as his new agent. Edge and his new agent want him in Miami. Which means Indy will get two 1st's because of the franchise tender.

As for Rodgers, he's still pretty much the cream of the crop at QB. Even if SF didn't pick him and Miami doesn't get Edge, Miami will draft him. And if through some fluke that Miami doesn't get him, Cleveland definitely will because they have no QB.

Why not go one more for the Cowboys pick?

I think Pacman will be the first corner off the board but not to Cleveland. I think Cleveland will take Derrick Johnson or Alex Smith. Crennel most likely will want to start building his defense that features playmaking linebackers. Also, Carnell Williams will probably go no later than Arizona.
