Cowboys Tackle To Retire

Irving, Tx - Reports out of Valley Ranch indicate that 2nd year Tackle Jacob Rogers will retire. Staff has stated an official statement would be released later today in a press conference. Rogers has had 4 major surgeries on his right shoulder, the latest was in January. Rehabilation was thought to bring the young player along, but Rogers injury is to the same shoulder and the rotator has been damaged and is degenerative. Rogers was draft in 2004 in the 2nd Round of the NFL Draft.

The Cowboys have had interest in pursuing at RT in Free Agency. The Cowboys are in the running for Jets RT Kareem McKenzie. Other options may come high in the draft, they are a few top notch Tackles available for the Cowboys.

This smells like a fake report to me.

The article lacks AP style -- "Tx" should have both letters capitalized, "Tackle" should not be capitalized, "top notch" should be hypenated, "2nd" should be spelled out as "second", etc.

Well that really really sucks.

Both he and Gurode are good for nothing.

Man, that irks me. Another wasted draft pick. That line is getting too long.

Maybe...but if you were going to make fake news....wouldn't you make it about somethign a little more interesting than a 2nd string tackle retiring?

There was a thread about this already...it appears to be bogus so at this time we are going to close this thread, like we did the other one, unless we find out any truth to the topic.
