FWST: Dez Bryant ticketed, banned from mall after saggy pants incident

DALLAS -- Cowboys receiver Dez Bryant was given a criminal trespass warning by an off-duty police officer after an incident at the NorthPark Center mall in Dallas on Saturday.

KXAS-TV also reported that Bryant has been banned from the mall for 90 days and could be subject to arrest if he returns sooner.

According to a police incident report, the disturbance occurred when Bryant and some friends were asked to pull up their pants because their underwear was showing.

Bryant and his adviser, David Wells, said the receiver was not banned and said it wasn't Bryant with the saggy pants but one of his friends.

When the incident occurred, Bryant initially refused to leave the mall explaining that he wanted to wait until Wells arrived to make sure the incident didn't get blown out of proportion.

Wells said Bryant did not get banned.

"They did not give us a citation, a warning, or nothing," Wells said. "The officer said it wasn't going to be nothing."
