....Im really happy with how fast Dallas got 3 of the top 20 FAs signed here in Dallas. We spent some big $$$ but it needed to be done. This team is way better then last year and we aint even done yet. I think we will have a good draft this year with players that can help this year and even start. We should be makin the rest of the NFL take notice cuz this team is already way better.

Now seriously. Ferguson next to Glover should be a real force. Henry is a big upgrade at CB. With him and T-New we should have a strong secondary. Just these 2 are big improvements and I expect Parcells to try and get either Merriman or Derick Johnson at #11. Now really after all these improvements have been made if Mike Zimmer cant get us in the top 10 in the NFL in turnovers sacks and QB pressures then Zimmer should clearly be fired after this season. If the players that have been brought here cant get that idiot to put together a violent and dominatin defense QBs fear then NOTHIN WILL!
I say this season Zimmer is #1 in the hot seat and should be. I just wish he was fired already.

I actually like Zimmer, but I agree in a way also.

2 years ago our defense was ranked 1st in yards, but we didn't force hardly any turnovers, or get any sacks. I'm not to sure if it the fact that he is just extremely conservative, or if we just didn't have any real playmakers on defense. I am leaning towards no playmakers, because he blitzes his linbackers all the time.

This is the truth of the matter. I don't hate Zimmer like some do but I will say this. He had better do more then just put up a paper defense this year. If your not turning the ball over, stopping the run on 3rd down and in the 4th quarter, getting sacks and most importantly, ranked high in scoring defense, then your not a good defense. Statistics may show we are good but TOs and points are the true indicators.

I think for some of these folks. HATE is the main word in their vocabulary! Now that Zimmer has some better bodies to put on the field (especially if we can get a fairly decent, pass rushing DE) I think our numbers will be better than 2003......love is a wonderful thing :D
