GRAPEVINE -- Dallas Cowboys All-Pro tight end Jason Witten enjoys the extra time with his two sons over the past few weeks. But make no mistake, he's ready for football.
Witten, along with other local pro athletes, was in attendance Wednesday night for the Muscular Dystrophy Association Muscle Team Bash at the Gaylord Texan in Grapevine, a social event to help raise money for a variety of diseases the association battles. Witten took some time to discuss with the Star-Telegram the NFL lockout, how he is passing time and his appearance in Archie comics.
