One thing about the draft room – the teams that are the most creative usually have the most success. But one of the trade chips that won’t be available this year is the ability to move current players.

Traditionally, the Cowboys haven’t really done much of that. Jerry Jones has always said the value of his own players is very low on draft day. And they really haven’t been in the market to add vets on draft day either.

This year, it’s not even an option because of the lockout. But to my point about being creative, don’t expect teams to make trades with veterans in mind....
