Free agent linebackers Kendrell Bell (Steelers) and Ed Hartwell (Ravens) spent the day in Kansas City on Thursday. Bell is expected to visit the Eagles on Friday. Free agent linebacker Jeremiah Trotter (Eagles) had a physical taken with the Chiefs on Thursday.

You might be thinking of Antonio Pierce.
Anyhow, wouldn't surprise me at all if Bell signs with Philly. They play the FA game smart - sign their young players to cap favourable deals early and let their washed up vets sign bloated contracts elsewhere and bring them back at vet min deals as role players later.
Getting a young, physical LB like Bell would make them even tougher. I hope we're bringing Bell in for a look - wouldn't hurt to check him out medically and see what he is capable of.
