Dez Bryant's adviser David Wells said the Dallas Cowboys rookie receiver has a plan to handle his debts and will be a better person in the near future.
But he acknowledged that right now Bryant is in "a dark place."
Bryant's public image has taken a hit in light of three current lawsuits. Bryant has been accused in two civil suits of owing more than $850,000 -- not including damages or legal fees -- for loans, jewelry and tickets to sporting events that Wells arranged with the understanding that Bryant would repay them once he signed a professional contract.
