I think that is Robbie Tobbeck. Possible online depth, or challenge for starting spot.

Thanks, but is there more to this? I'm pretty sure the Boys have...yes...contacted another player.

:D

Are you correcting his spelling of his name or do you know something?

I'm thinking with the cost of a free agent tackle, a RT with the 20th pick could become a real possibility. Barron or Brown

Somebody like Ray Willis in the 4th or 5th round seems a lot more likely to me...

I figure the Boys' first day picks will be aimed at DE, LB or WR... possibly all 3...

Here are two links about our possible interest in Tobeck.

http://seattletimes.nwsource.com/html/seahawks/2002195109_hawk03.html

Center Robbie Tobeck is a possible fit in Dallas with quarterback Drew Bledsoe, his former teammate at Washington State; but the Seahawks are still in the running.

http://seahawks.scout.com/2/356953.html

The Dallas Cowboys have been in contact with free agent center Robbie Tobeck, and some scuttlebutt has backup quarterback Trent Dilfer on the minds of the Cleveland Browns and the San Francisco 49ers as a possible starter in a trade scenario. Mike Holmgren has long said that if Dilfer were to receive an offer to start, he would do everything in his power to support that.

I'd have an orgasm on the spot if we got Barron that late. Hell yeah!

Merriman (or Spears or DJ) at #11, then Barron at #20? Oh hell yeah!

Edit: And if we got Tobeck I'd hope it's for depth purposes. He'll be 35 years old on Sunday!

Wow, looks like Bill is really set on doing all he can to protect Bledsoe. Guess I can't really blame him being that Bledsoe has very limited mobility. Heck, I hope we can latch onto a very nice RT, too, either through FA or the draft. If so, we'll have the making of a very good Oline. Would be nice for Julius to see some holes similar to the ones #22 used to run through...he's downright nasty in open space.

I like both esp Barron. There was a guy at the combine who was working at guard but had the size, look and movement to play either G/T and was mentioned a fair amount as a possible move to OT. I can't remember his name...how unlike me. But he worked well in shorts. Does anyone remember this guy or am I more confused than usual?
