Abraham Lincoln was elected to Congress in 1846.
John F. Kennedy was elected to Congress in 1946.
Abraham Lincoln was elected President in 1860.
John F. Kennedy was elected President in 1960.
The names Lincoln and Kennedy each contain seven letters.
Both were particularly interested with civil rights.
Both Presidents were shot on a Friday.
Both were shot in the head.
(here is an interesting one)
Lincoln’s secretary was named Kennedy.
Kennedy’s secretary was named Lincoln.
Both were assassinated by Southerners.
Both were succeeded by Southerners.
Both successors were named Johnson.
Andrew Johnson, who succeeded Lincoln, was born in 1808.
Lyndon Johnson, who succeeded Kennedy, was born in 1908.
John Wilkes Booth, who assassinated Lincoln was born in 1839.
Lee Harvey Oswald, who assassinated Kennedy was born in 1939.
Both assassins were known by their three names.
Both names are made of fifteen letters.
Booth ran from the theater and was caught in a warehouse.
Oswald ran from a warehouse and was caught in a theater.
Booth and Oswald were assassinated before their trials.
A week before Lincoln was shot he was in Monroe, Maryland.
A week before Kennedy was shot he was in Marilyn Monroe.

Ha, no. That list has been circulating for years ... at least for 10 years. I'm sure there are other things false in it, but I noticed the Marilyn mistake the first time I saw the list.

Not sure what all the laughter is about. I've got better things to do than to watch a half-wit laugh himself silly after realizing some lame list he posted has mistakes.
Thanks for reminding me why I frequent this site less and less.

I can tell you one other mistake.
Booth was shot in a barn, not a warehouse.

I remember growing up in the 60's in Bossier City, LA. They had a vending machine at the A&P Grocery that dispensed a Lincoln penny with a small Kennedy head facing his. Then there was a small piece of paper that you unfolded and it had all of these (except the Marylin Monroe thing). That was about 1970-71...
