Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Dez Bryant is settling some of his expensive debts.

Bryant reached a settlement with a New York-based jeweler over non-payment for $246,000 worth of jewelry.

Does the article say what settlement was reached?

Did he really pay 246k to the jeweler, or just finally get around to returning it?

Lindsay Lohan needs to take lessons from Dez.

Stealing 246k > $2500

APThe best evidence that a guy has a problem with jewelry lawsuits? When he is defending himself against at least two of them.

Fortunately, Cowboys receiver Dez Byrant is no longer defending himself against two jewelry lawsuits. According to Calvin Watkins of ESPNDallas.com, Bryant has settled the claim filed last month based on allegations that Bryant failed to pay a pending bill of $246,000 for $267,000 in jewelry purchased from January through May 2010.

Dez acting like a jewelry maven queen reminds me of much simpler times when Emmitt surprised me by wearing an earring.

Yeah, I'm sure that going public wouldn't have been the Jeweler's first choice for resolving the outstanding debt. Wasn't very prudent of Dez to let it rise (or fall) to this level. Hopefully, this was a good lesson in many ways for him.
